When does the membership year start?

Membership year is from 1st Sept to 31 August.

For those accrediting in June/July we offer membership from the time of accreditation to the end of the following year of membership,so you get a few moths extra included in your first years fee.

Can I be on the committee?

We welcome members to be on and help with committee work.

All the committee members are voluntary and some receive a bursary subject to funds being available for their work on the committee.

I am thinking of taking a Sabbatical and time out what do I need to do?

You are required to write to the Chair of Membership and the Chair of Reaccreditation to let them know your plans. You are also required to let the UKCP know of your plans.

How long can I be on a sabbatical?

In line with the UKCP the ACPP recognise one year of sabbatical.  After this comes "time out".
CPP asks that you remain a member during your sabbatical and join as an Associate member.  As an Associate member you have access to Coretalk, CPD events, OGM and AGM, the support of your professional body with regard to welfare and are continuing your support of the Core Process community

I am returning to practice after sabbatical or time out what do I need to do?

You are required to discuss your return to practice with the chair of reaccreditation who will be able to guide you in your return to practice. For the guidelines on retuning to practice the Return to Practice Policy
